Who Can Join

The signup is moderated, as our community wants to ensure that folks (mostly trans women) who join have a legitimate interest in voice feminization training, either as a student, mentor, or ally. If you fit any of these categories, you'll be most welcome to join our group.

Membership is Free, by Invite-Only

This group is volunteer-run, with monthly support meetings and ongoing online discussions which are free to attend. Note: we do promote some non-free training programs and voice instructors!

Our events and group discussions are organized via a Facebook "secret" group. This means that the access controls for this group do not allow public visibility for membership, events, or discussion content.

Note: Previously this group was organized on Meetup, but was moved to Facebook to improve outreach and community engagement.

How to Join

In order to join, you will need an invite from one of the organizers. Please send an Please tell us a bit about yourself when you apply, and we'll be in touch.

Benefits of Joining

  • Meeting Notifications & RSVP -- As a member of this private group, you'll receive announcements about upcoming meetings and voice training resources, and have the ability to RSVP to let the organizers know whether you can or can't attend.
  • Private Discussion Forum -- As mentioned earlier, we use a private Facebook group to provide the online discussion forum. Additional Facebook groups are sometimes created for special challenges or voice training programs.
  • Collaboration on Private Content The public site also contains links back to private, members only content, such as notes and presentations from our meetings. Most of these are on Google Drive, and require a Google account to access and contribute.
  • Collaboration on Public ContentOur public website provides a way for us to share what we learn with the rest of the world, and also a nice way to promote the group. If you want to help out with the content on the site, please let me know!

Note: the support meetings are not voice training classes! They are designed to supplement any outside voice training and practice.
